Ecopilot AI is a software that optimizes existing BAS control of central HVAC systems, to improve energy efficiency and tenant comfort. Over the past 15 years, Ecopilot has averaged 25% HVAC energy reduction by leveraging weather forecast, live temperature sensor data and harnessing the existing thermal mass of a building. In the fall of 2023, Triovest launched Alberta’s first Ecopilot AI installation in the ATCO office building in Edmonton. Nick and Chris will explore the successes and lessons learned since the launch of the demonstration project.
