Join us in Edmonton for Air Source Heat Pump Training, in advance of the Alberta Energy Efficiency + Innovation Summit (details on the summit below).

This training includes four modules focused on the selection and application of air-source heat pumps in Alberta. Topics covered will include F280 heat loss calculations and heat pump sizing, NRCan's heat pump selection tool, control strategies for heat pump systems, and assessing electrical service capacities. Dave Turnbull, of Enerspec Energy Consulting, will lead this workshop. Dave brings a wealth of knowledge with experience both as a builder and Energy Advisor.

This workshop is intended for HVAC professionals, builders, renovators, building officials, electricians and designers. While this session will focus on residential applications, it will also be applicable to other building applications.

Alberta Energy Efficiency and Innovation Summit

The Alberta Energy Efficiency + Innovation Summit is the largest conference in the province dedicated to advancing the adoption of energy efficiency and innovative solutions to reduce the carbon footprint of the buildings sector, brought to you by the Smart Sustainable Resilient Infrastructure Association (SSRIA) and Alberta Energy Efficiency Alliance (AEEA).

The Summit is hosting a pre-event networking event at 5:00 PM on April 28th at the Westin Edmonton. This networking session is included as part of the Summit registration. Attendees of the Air-Source Heat Pump Training are encouraged to register for the Summit here.
